DPSI 2001 RV - Dual Power Servo Interface (Regulated Voltage)

The successor of the first integrated power supply concept for large models. Electronically switches, servo pulse amplification, servo radio interference suppression and servo distribution, regulated voltage for receiver and servos, usage of all established battery types, low voltage monitoring with intelligent algorithm: all in one device. In doing so, the whole current carrying electronics are completely doubly layed out: two independent electronically switches, two separate decoupling diodes, two separate safety systems. Furthermore, each individual servo line is separately radio interference suppressed by a high grade LCL-filter. Via long servo lines induced disturbances are directly eliminated at the servo connector and do not flow through the printed cicuit board.

Additional Informationen about the DPSI 2001 RV:

  • The DPSI 2001 RV was developed according to the VDA guidelines of the automobile industry. In order to design the system even safer and more powerful as comparable products, a so called FMEA (failure mode and effect analysis) was conducted to inhibit any critical malfunction. CE-testing as well as an elaborated testing in the lab and under realistic conditions in the model was taken for granted.

  • Thanks to totally house owned manufacturing at EMCOTEC, constantly high quality of the products can be achieved.

  • The predecessor, the DPSI 2001, was sold several thousand times, without recording of any returns or break downs. Each system is 100% tested before leaving the house. Well known air model pilots from all over the world, are using this high grade product successfully.

  • Of course, electronically power switches are being utilized in the DPSI 200 RV.

  • The circuitry logic guarantees a quiescent current in turned off state, which does not discharge the batteries. This quiescent current is less than 1µA! This makes sure, that no damage happens to the batteries caused by creeping discharge, even when connected for a long time (winter break).

  • Of course, the DPSI 2001 RV can be operated in conjunction with additional products of other manufacturers, e.g. gyros or the JR MagicBox system.
